The presentation took place today, July 18, 2018, at St.Amant’s head office in St Vital.     10TH ANNUAL TELUS MANITOBA MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR DAD ATTRACTS OVER 1,400 REGISTERED RIDERS

    WINNIPEG, MB: Today, the TELUS Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad (MRFD) celebrated its 10TH Ride and attracted 1,433 registered riders. The record of 1,510 riders set in 2017 is safe for another year. Funds raised from today’s Ride will exceed $350,000. This brings the ten-year fundraising total to over $2.2M. Proceeds stay in Manitoba for prostate cancer research and education. Read More

      WINNIPEG, MB: The Winnipeg Police Association (WPA) launched the inaugural Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad in 2009 which attracted 487 registered riders and raised $70,000 for prostate cancer research and education. On May 26, 2018, the tenth Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad will now see over 1,500 riders raising over $355,000 in the fight against prostate cancer. Read More

Winnipeg Police Association

The Winnipeg Police Athletic Association (WPAA) became the Winnipeg Police Association (WPA) March 16, 1972 in advance of the Unicity amalgamation of 1974. At that time, all police associations in the Greater Winnipeg area became members of the newly minted WPA.

The Cool 2Be Kind campaign is an initiative of the Winnipeg Police Association and focuses on teaching youth in grades K-8 the value of being kind.  Entering our seventh year, this positive behavior initiative outlines the benefits of being kind to others and making good choices in school and in life.

The 95th Annual Winnipeg Police Association Charity Ball in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba happens Saturday, April 27, 2019, Canad Inn Polo Park. Over the past 27 years the Charity Ball has raised over $640,000 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba thanks to the generous support of table sponsors and raffle prize donors.
