Winnipeg Police Association Kicks Off Cool 2Be Kind Campaign

The Winnipeg Police Association’s annual anti-bullying initiative is back to foster teamwork, kindness, and positive behavior among students in grades K–8.

Selected projects will receive $500 in funding to help bring their ideas to life. Educators and students can submit their kindness project proposals online at www.cool2bekind.ca now through the December 31, 2026 deadline.

This year’s 50/50 winner, taking home $5,465, drawn in conjunction with the 99th Annual Winnipeg Police Association Charity Ball in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba.

Charity Ball Donation Give a Thon

President Cory Wiles and Vice President Phil Neyron, together with Charity Ball Emcee Joe Aiello, had the honour of presenting Stefano Grande, President & CEO of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba, with a cheque for $50,000 — representing the proceeds from the 2025 Charity Ball.

In addition, the W.P.A. donated a further $1,000 to 92.1 Citi’s Give-a-thon, in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Thank you to the Talbot Family Foundation and K & P Talbot Community for matching donations.
