    14TH ANNUAL MANITOBA MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR DAD RAISES NEARLY $350,000 IN THE FIGHT AGAINST PROSTATE CANCER

    WINNIPEG, MB: Today, the Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad (MRFD) celebrated its 14TH Ride and attracted over 1,000 registered riders. The record of 1,547 riders set in 2019 is safe for another year. Funds raised from today’s Ride will total close to $350,000 bringing the 14-year fundraising total to over $3.2 million dollars. Proceeds stay in Manitoba for prostate cancer research and education. Read More

Winnipeg Police Association

The Winnipeg Police Athletic Association (WPAA) became the Winnipeg Police Association (WPA) March 16, 1972 in advance of the Unicity amalgamation of 1974. At that time, all police associations in the Greater Winnipeg area became members of the newly minted WPA.

After a three-year pause, the Winnipeg Police Association is proud to be hosting the 96th Annual WPA Charity Ball - Saturday, April 29, 2023, 6:00 PM, Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park. The Charity Ball is the oldest running annual charity function of its kind in North America.
