Saturday, April 27, 2024, Canad Inns Polo Park: The 97th Annual Winnipeg Police Association Charity Ball in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba (CHFM) was another huge success. The WPA Charity Ball is the longest running annual charity function of its kind in North America.

The event was Emceed by Joe Aiello from 92.1 Citi and featured 2024 Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba Champion Child, Janessa Dumas and her family.

A special performance from the Winnipeg Police Pipe Band was a highlight and the evening’s dance entertainment was provided by Jennifer Hanson Band.

The amount of funds generated for the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba was $45,000 and will bring the CHFM fundraising total to nearly $850,000.
