The Stars of Special Olympics Golf Tournament blends love of sport with the spirit of giving back. Presented by the Winnipeg Police Association, this tournament highlights Special Olympics athletes in an incredible celebration of inclusion.
Manitoba Motorcycle Ride for Dad
Since 2008 the Winnipeg Police Association has supported the Motorcycle Ride for Dad, which raises funds to support research and education through the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation.
Winnipeg Police Association Charity Ball
The Winnipeg Police Association is proud to host the 98th Annual WPA Charity Ball, held Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Canad Inns Destination Centre Club Regent Casino Hotel. The Charity Ball is the oldest-running annual charity function of its kind in North America.
Manitoba Law Enforcement Torch Run
The WPA participates in both the Manitoba Law Enforcement Torch Run and Polar Plunge events in support of Special Olympics Manitoba. All monies raised in Manitoba are in support of Manitobans with intellectual disabilities who benefit through participation in sports under Special Olympics programs and activities.
